  1. 22 May 2025SuffocationNezmdi Infant Swings Recalled Due to Risk of Serious Injury or Death from Suffocation Hazard; Multiple Federal Safety Violations; Sold Exclusively on Amazon.com by NezmdiThe swings pose a suffocation hazard and a risk of serious injury or death to babies, because they were marketed for infant sleep and have an incline angle greater than 10 degrees, in violation of the Safe Sleep for Babies Act. The swings also fail to meet the mandatory warning requirements under the swing regulations. In addition, the remote control included with the swings contains a lithium coin battery and is missing the required warnings and instructions for consumer products containing button cell and coin batteries under Reese's Law.US

How to find the model number, batch code and barcode

Model number
Usually on a label or sticker on the product itself (underside, back or frame), on the box, or in the manual. It may be called model, type, style or item number.
Batch or lot code
Printed or stamped on the packaging or product, often next to a date. On formula and baby food it is usually on the base or side of the tin or pack, near the best-before date.
Barcode
The 8 to 14 digits printed under the bars on the packaging. Type them into the check box on this page to compare them with the notices.
