Er is mogelijk naderhand een ander stuurwiel gemonteerd met een Takata airbag waarvan het gas in de gasgenerator kan verouderen.
HazardHierdoor kan bij een door een ongeluk veroorzaakte airbag ontploffingin het ongunstigste geval de gasgenerator barsten. Metaalstukken kunnen daardoor - mogelijk dodelijke -verwondingen veroorzaken.
