HazardEen beschadigde torsiestaaf kan bij een ongeval breken, waardoor de gordel ongecontroleerd afrolt. De beschermende werking van de gordel is daardoor niet meer gegarandeerd. Er bestaat verhoogd gevaar voor verwondingen
