HazardHierdoor kan de veiligheidsgordel bij hard remmen, slippen of een ongeval waarbij de auto over de kop gaat, mogelijk niet goed blokkeren. De gordel houdt de passagiers achterin dan niet op hun plek, waardoor de kans op letsel groter wordt.
