De hoogspanningsaccu kan een productiefout bevatten waardoor in de cel met lage capaciteit een inwendige kortsluiting kan ontstaan.
HazardAls de accu wordt uitgeschakeld, zal dat leiden tot verlies van motorvermogen bij uitrollen, waardoor de kans op een aanrijding groter wordt. Er kan thermische ontluchting van de accu plaatsvinden, wat kan leiden tot een voertuigbrand.
