De rijhulpsystemen werken niet of niet goed door onjuiste software.
HazardHierdoor kunnen objecten onvoldoende herkend worden of kunnen de rijhulpsystemen (o.a. actieve remassistent, spoorassistent, Distronic) gedeactiveerd worden zonder dat hiervoor een melding weergegeven wordt. Verder kan de automatische deel- of vollastremming uitblijven waardoor het risico op ongeval zal toenemen.
