HazardDe bestuurder wordt hierdoor niet gewaarschuwd voor voertuigen in de dode hoek en andere weggebruikers kunnen minder goed zien dat het voertuig van rijstrook verandert of afslaat, waardoor het risico op een ongeval toeneemt.
